Josep Maria Ribal
Since I was a kid, I have felt specially motivated to look inside myself and inside other people, try to understand, and share what I learn through my writing or in other ways. When I was 16, I wrote a 450 page book on a psychological analysis of the characters from La Celestina, a Spanish classic published in 1499. I didn’t even wonder whether or not I could do that, nor how. I just felt like doing it, and I did it. I completely immersed myself in that project for hours after school, for a month, every day, until one or two in the morning. It took me years to realize that there it was the seed of my true passion, which has kept on growing and growing over the years.
I have also always felt the hunger for connectedness and harmony among all beings. Professionally, I have channeled that through my work as an educator, OD consultant, coach, and social entrepreneur in the United States and Spain. Ten years ago, as a result of a long and deep crisis that deeply transformed my life, I embraced my life purpose and started to live and work flowing with it, following my inner voice and the invisible thread that guides us.
I started then to explore and learn as much as I could about my inner world, our inner world as human beings and as spiritual beings living this life, and I have kept exploring and learning ever since: jungian archetypes, Carol Pearson's 12-archetypes model; holistic therapies, specially Traditional Chinese Medicine; psychological astrology at the Center for Psychological Astrology in London; online therapeutic writing programs through Lapidus; transpersonal therapy at the International Association for Transpersonal Therapy in Valencia; Regression Therapy at the Centro de Estudios Superiores de Terapia Regresiva Mariat G. Bernabé. I am equally passionate about observing the internal dynamics of groups, teams, and organizations, intuitively perceive their covert processes, and work with them to expand their awareness and consciousness so that the wellbeing of each individual and the collectives they are part of deepens. That took me to the MSOD program at American University / NTL.
I have been journaling since I was 12. I have published two poetry books. I am currently working on a three-book project Un World Diferent, a constellation of three books, written in three different genres, in three different languages (Spanish, English, and Catalan), focused on three different layers of our inner world: our inner child, our emotional experiences as adults, and our ability to reconnect with the best of us to offer it from the heart to those around us through our leadership skills.
I keep learning as much as I can, and sharing what I learn.
My inner world and services are shared from my websites and blog:
Every time we start a new project with a new client, we contribute with at least a 5% of our fees to projects, anywhere in the world, that aim at contributing to address someone's needs similar to our client's needs, but more basic.
We are building a library to gladly share some of the resources we have created and that have proven to be very efficient. Some of them will come with easy to follow guides. Other ones will be self-explanatory and clear enough to be used as is.
